Description
MC-Epo Zinc is a two-pack zinc-rich epoxy primer.
Where to use
Blast-cleaned steel surfaces for protection against corrosion. Protection of steel reinforcement in concrete and use within MCT protective coating systems.
Advantages
High abrasion resistance. High resistance to corrosion. Resistance to severe weather conditions. Excellent adhesion between reinforcing steel and concrete according to the approved source.
Application data
Application by airless spray, brush or roller. Guiding airless pressure: 2100 psi. Nozzle tip: 0.018-0.023 in. Spray angle: 30°-75°. Thinner / cleaner: MC-Thinner 02.
Drying time

Surface preparation
The surface must be clean and dry. Blast clean steel to Sa 2½. During application, substrate temperature should be at least 10°C and at least 3°C above the air dew point.
Storage & handling
Keep containers tightly closed in a cool, dry place. Stir components thoroughly for 3-5 minutes before use.
Packaging
5 kg component A + 1 kg component B; or 20 kg component A + 4 kg component B.
