Description
MC-PROOF is a ready-to-use liquid admixture that produces watertight concrete and supports more uniform concrete quality and workability.
Where to use
Recommended where watertight characteristics are highly required, including foundations, retaining walls, reservoirs, water tanks, water and sewage tunnels, swimming pools and related water-retaining structures. Suitable where increased resistance to severe weather, salts, sulphates and chemical exposure is required. Suitable for concrete used in repair and rehabilitation of water-retaining structures.
Advantages - fresh concrete
• Improves mixing, placing, compaction and finishing. • Reduces honeycombing and segregation. • Reduces mixing water without reducing workability. • Increases concrete density.
Advantages - hardened concrete
• Increases compressive and flexural strength and bond of concrete to steel. • Produces watertight hardened concrete. • Improves resistance to surrounding and weather conditions. • Improves resistance to sulphates, chlorides, other salts and chemicals.
General precautions
When MC-PROOF is used with other admixtures, add each material separately. Non-toxic and nonflammable according to the approved source; wash exposed skin with water. For dosages outside the recommended range, consult MCT technical support.
