Description

MC-Patch F is a high-strength, shrinkage-compensating, fiber-reinforced repair mortar for existing concrete and new construction. It is formulated for spray or trowel application, with a typical repair thickness of 20-50 mm in one layer.

Where to use

Floor maintenance repair. Sidewalk, driveway and pavement repair. Installations exposed to a wide range of temperature and humidity conditions. Parking garages, decks, ramps, roadways and other frequently trafficked areas. Applications requiring high early strength. Deteriorated joints and pipe lining.

Advantages

Suitable for spray (shotcrete) or trowel application. Ready to use - requires only water addition. Shrinkage compensation helps minimize drying-shrinkage effects. High early and ultimate strength. Chloride free. Improved abrasion resistance compared with plain concrete, according to the source. Appearance similar to plain concrete. Low permeability. Excellent resistance to aggressive materials, as stated by the source.

Technical data & application parameters

Shelf life 12 months in closed bags Mixing water per 25 kg bag 3.0-3.5 L, depending on required consistency Repair thickness 20-50 mm in one layer Packaging 25 kg moisture-resistant bag

Application procedure

Substrate preparation: surface must be clean and free from contamination; wet the surface before application. Mixing: add 3.0-3.5 L of water per 25 kg bag, depending on the required consistency. Application: apply by suitable spray equipment (shotcrete) or by trowel. When trowel-applied, force the mortar firmly against the substrate to ensure good contact. Curing: proper curing is important. Cure with water or an appropriate curing compound as soon as possible.

Storage & packaging

Store bags closed and dry. Shelf life: 12 months in closed bags. Packaging: 25 kg moisture-resistant bags.
