Description
MC-Leak Inject is a low-viscosity, single-component MDI-based water-reactive polyurethane injection resin. It is used to seal water leakage through cracks in walls, floors and concrete construction. On contact with water it forms a semi-flexible hydrophobic foam that blocks leakage paths and water penetration.

Water sealing of cracks and leakage paths in walls, floors and concrete construction where water leakage or penetration is present.
Properties
• The semi-flexible foam absorbs movement of the crack. • Fast-reacting semi-flexible PU foam used as a water stop for sealing leakage and water penetration. • Penetrates deep into fine cracks. • Reacts with water and forms carbon dioxide gas; the resulting swelling pressure expands the resin into a foam that seals water penetration. • Free expansion: 1700% - 2200%. • Does not shrink after curing. • Excellent adhesion to mineral construction materials such as concrete, cement, brick and metal, and to certain plastics. • Reaction speed can be controlled by varying the amount of catalyst. • The source states that the resin foam is environmentally friendly and does not contain toxic substances. • The source states chemical resistance against water, weak acids and alkali, mineral oils, fungus and bacterium, groundwater, seawater and petroleum products.

Processing
• Add 6-9% MC-Leak Inject Cat and mix thoroughly. • Inject the mixture with a single-component pump - manual, electric or pneumatic - into the crack. • MC-Leak Inject polymerizes into a semi-flexible hydrophobic foam.

MC-Leak Inject: 5 kg. MC-Leak Inject Cat: 0.46 kg.
Shelf life / storage
• Original packaging: 6 months. • Once opened, the resin has a limited shelf life. Avoid contact with water and moisture.
Cleaning
Clean the pump and equipment whenever there is a stop of more than 15 minutes.
Precautions and safety
• Avoid contact of the product with skin and eyes. • Wear safety glasses, gloves and suitable work clothing. • If the product contacts the eyes, wash with plenty of water and seek medical attention. • If the product contacts skin, wash with plenty of water. • Absorb spilled resin with sand and dispose of it according to local regulations. • The product reacts with water; if contaminated by moisture, CO gas pressure may form inside containers.
