Description

MC-Grout is a ready-to-use, non-shrink, high-strength grout for precision grouting from flowable to damp-pack consistency. It contains natural aggregate and provides an appearance similar to concrete and mortar.

Where to use

Precision grouting beneath equipment, baseplates, soleplates and columns. Applications where shrinkage must be eliminated and high-strength grout similar in appearance to concrete or mortar is required. Non-shrink grouting of precast wall panels, beams and columns.

Advantages

Hardens without bleeding, settlement or drying shrinkage when mixed and placed at the appropriate consistency. Retains workable consistency under warm conditions as described in the source. Can be pumped into intricate or difficult-to-access areas. Provides a dense grout without gas-generating or air-release agents such as aluminium powder. Develops high strength at flowable consistency. Natural aggregate provides a concrete-like appearance.

Strength development & product data

Compressive strength - 1 day 200 kg/cm² Compressive strength - 3 days 350 kg/cm² Compressive strength - 7 days 500 kg/cm² Compressive strength - 28 days 600 kg/cm²

General precautions

The source specifies a grout and contact-surface temperature range of approximately 7-40°C. Do not add water in an amount that causes bleeding or segregation. Outside the recommended temperature range, apply appropriate high- or low-temperature grouting procedures.

Packaging & references

Packed in 25 kg moisture-resistant bags. MC-Grout S.R is also identified by the source for conditions requiring sulphate-resistant grout. CRD-C588-76 CRD-C 621 Flow reference: ASTM C230 - 5 drops in 3 seconds at 95% flow, as stated by the source.
