Floor Hardeners
MC-Floor Plate
Dry-Shake, Metallic Aggregate Surface Hardener
• MC-Floor Plate ready to use dry shake concrete surface hardener contains specially processed anti-rust metallic alloy aggregates, technically selected and tested cementations binder, plus proven plasticizer, efficient water-reducing admixtures and other important proprietary ingredients. • MC-Floor Plate produces industry’s thickest iron armored surface by the dry shake method for industrial floors needing extra abrasion resistance , impact protection and chemical resistance. Heavier applications are now possible with MC - Floor Plate due to new components that help provide complete integration of the required amount of shake into the floor surface at maximum rate of application with minimum effort.

Description
MC-Floor Plate is a ready-to-use dry-shake surface hardener containing processed rust-resistant metallic-alloy aggregate, selected cementitious binders, plasticizers and performance additives. It forms a heavily armoured surface for industrial floors requiring extra abrasion and impact resistance.
Where to use
Long-life, low-maintenance industrial floors. Industrial surfaces subject to heavy traffic, severe impact and high abrasion. Areas where surface dusting could affect product purity or precision machinery. Floors requiring additional abrasion and impact armouring at a practical installation cost.
Advantages
Can be applied as a dry shake at heavier rates while remaining practical to place. Provides high abrasion and impact resistance. Produces a dense surface resistant to oil and grease penetration. Reduces surface dusting and does not form rust. Easy to clean and maintain. Can be finished smooth or non-slip. According to the source, extends service life compared with plain concrete. Resists water and oil penetration.
Limitations
Do not use in areas exposed to acids. Do not apply over concrete containing chlorides. Do not apply over concrete with entrained air above 3%.
Application rate
Light to moderate duty 3.0-4.5 kg/m² Moderate to heavy duty 4.5-7.0 kg/m² Extra-heavy duty 7.0-11 kg/m²
Application
Broadcast the product manually over freshly placed concrete before initial set, ensuring uniform distribution. Float and finish the surface with suitable equipment, integrating the metallic aggregate into the surface layer until the required density and smoothness are achieved. If service conditions require more than 11 kg/m² or an unusual armouring thickness, consult MCT technical support as indicated by the source.
Curing & precautions
Cure the surface with water or an MCT-approved curing compound. Do not use salt water or brackish water for curing. The product contains cement; avoid eye contact and prolonged skin contact.
Packaging
MC-Floor Plate is supplied ready to use in 25 kg moisture-resistant polyethylene bags. No additional on-site weighing or blending of ingredients is required.
