Description

MC-Epo Patch F is a two-component, 100% reactive epoxy paste. Its high compressive strength provides resistance to impact and dynamic loads, while the non-shrink formulation provides high bond strength to concrete and steel.

Where to use

Repair of floors exposed to high abrasion and wear. Patching cracks and filling joints or voids in concrete, timber, steel, ceramic, marble and granite surfaces. Repair of structural elements subjected to high loads. Smoothing rough surfaces. Bonding marble, granite and ceramic tiles to concrete and steel substrates.

Advantages

Easy mixing and application. High compressive, tensile and bond strength. Fast curing. High resistance to acids, alkalis, salt solutions and other corrosive chemical solutions. Provides a smooth, water-resistant surface suitable for leveling and joint filling.

Surface preparation

New concrete: preferably allow at least 28 days before application; the surface must be clean, sound and suitably roughened for adhesion. Existing concrete: remove weak material back to sound concrete and clean away oils, grease, old coatings and dust. Steel: remove rust and contaminants; abrasive blasting is preferred to create a suitable bonding profile. For tile, marble or granite joints, remove dust and leave the joint dry before applying the paste.

Mixing & application

Mix both components with a slow-speed mechanical mixer for at least 3 minutes until fully homogeneous. Apply with suitable tools such as a trowel or knife for bonding, leveling, crack filling or joint filling.

Safety & cleaning

Prevent material from entering the eyes. Avoid prolonged or direct skin contact. Clean tools immediately after use with a suitable epoxy thinner before the material hardens.

Storage & packaging

Shelf life: 12 months at 25°C in tightly closed containers. Packaging: 5 kg total - 3 kg resin + 2 kg hardener. Mix ratio A:B = 3:2 by weight.
