Description

MC-Epo Inject is a two-component solvent-free epoxy material designed for injection and sealing needs. The approved source references ASTM C881 Type 1, Grade 1, Classes B and C.

Where to use

Injection of vertical and horizontal cracks in concrete.

Advantages

Excellent adhesive for pressure injection of fine cracks. Moisture-insensitive bonding to dry or damp surfaces. Tough, weather-resistant seal for porous concrete. Penetrates deeply into concrete cracks.

Performance data

Viscosity 300-500 cps Compressive strength, 28 days 750 kg/cm² Tensile strength, 28 days 390 kg/cm² Flexural strength, 28 days 500 kg/cm² Bond strength to concrete 140 kg/cm² after 2 days Water absorption < 1%

Crack preparation

Remove deteriorated parts from the crack to a maximum depth of 5 mm. Minimum age of new concrete: 28 days.

Mixing

Thoroughly mix component A with component B according to the stated mixing ratio.

Application

Horizontal cracks may be gravity-fed or pressure-injected. Vertical and overhead cracks must be pressure-injected. Seal areas around entry ports and the crack between ports. Inject neat material using an epoxy injection machine or other mechanical means. Continue until the crack is full.

Safety

Prevent material from entering the eyes, avoid skin contact, provide adequate ventilation, and keep away from sparks and flames where solvent-containing materials are involved.

Cleaning

Clean tools and equipment with a suitable epoxy thinner.
