Description

MC-Epo Floor S.L 10 is a multi-component epoxy flooring system with a nominal 1 mm thickness, formulated with self-leveling properties.

Where to use

Hospitals, slaughterhouses and warehouses. Laboratories and power plants. Textile mills, TV studios, workshops and aircraft hangars. Exhibition halls, bakeries and dairies. Chemical and pharmaceutical plants.

Advantages

Self-leveling properties provide a smooth, uniform surface. According to the source, it does not support normal growth of bacteria, fungi or algae, making it suitable where a high level of hygiene is required. High resistance to mineral oils, fuels, most diluted inorganic acids, alkalis, solutions and organic acids. Produces an extremely smooth, glossy finish. Available in a wide range of colours. High bond strength combined with good abrasion and chemical resistance.

Application rate

MC-Epo Prime primer 200-300 g/m² MC-Epo Floor S.L 10 1.60 kg/m² per 1 mm thickness

Application procedure

Surface preparation: concrete must be clean, dry and free from oil, grease and foreign matter. Repair honeycombs and defective areas before application. Priming: mix the components of MC-Epo Prime thoroughly and apply by roller, brush or spray. Allow sufficient time for the primer to become tacky before applying the flooring mortar. Mixing: mix the components of MC-Epo Floor S.L 10 with a low-speed mixer for 3-5 minutes until a homogeneous, lump-free mixture is obtained. Application: pour the mixed material onto the primed surface, spread uniformly with a notched trowel, then pass a spiked roller repeatedly to release entrapped air bubbles.

Use note

Apply at the thickness and consumption stated in the technical source, taking site conditions and pot life into account.
