Description

MC-Deak Seal RE is a ready-to-use, cold-applied water-based rubberized bitumen emulsion for waterproof protection of concrete, metal and timber surfaces.

Where to use

Waterproofing concrete structures over plaster and below-ground construction. Bathroom, kitchen and other wet-area surfaces. Foundations, retaining walls, column necks, basements and tunnels. Traditional bathroom and roof waterproofing. Waterproofing concrete, timber and steel surfaces in underground structures, swimming pools and foundations.

Advantages

Good waterproofing performance. Flexible coating that accommodates temperature variation. Suitable for dry or damp surfaces. Good resistance to chemicals associated with industrial activity, as stated by the source. Water-based, easy to use and economical. Good adhesion to different substrates.

Application

Clean the substrate of dust, oil, grease and foreign matter; remove rust from metal where necessary. Stir the container thoroughly before use. Apply by brush or spray. Apply a primer coat by diluting the product with 5-10% clean water, followed by two or three coats according to waterproofing requirements. Clean tools with water after use.

Storage & packaging

Shelf life: 12 months. Packaging: 15 kg pail or 200 kg drum.
