Description
MC-Curo 100 is a milky-white liquid, membrane-type curing compound based on acrylic polymer. The controlled publication basis is ASTM C309-80 Type 1D. It is ready to use for protecting fresh concrete against rapid water evaporation.
Where to use
• Large horizontal or inclined concrete surfaces. • Airfields and highways. • Pavements, walls and dams. • Bridges, foundation slabs and other concrete surfaces.
Advantages
• Produces an impervious white film that retains over 90% of the water in the concrete for at least 3 days. • The finished concrete has a harder, dust-free surface and drying-shrinkage cracks are reduced to a minimum. • The film degrades within 3-4 weeks, depending on weathering. • Economical to use.
Surface preparation
Apply MC-Curo 100 as evenly as possible to freshly poured concrete. If the concrete has lost some of its greenness, dampen the surface first with water before applying MC-Curo 100.
Application
Stir the material well before use. Apply by spray to freshly poured concrete or after removing the forms.
Cleaning
• Clean spraying equipment with water immediately after use. • Pay special attention to thorough cleaning of spray nozzles and moving parts.
Storage / shelf life
12 months in tightly closed original containers. Packaging: 20 kg and 200 kg.
